Why The Office Should Get More Attention

Two oddball comedies are back on TV after a long hiatus. Do they still work? Well, let’s see. This week we’re talking about the three must-watch comedies of the 2010s.

The first-season winner of every AFI awards ceremony, and the second-season winner of every Comedy category, American Horror Story: Coven is the kind of horror series you could watch at a black-tie dinner party or around the campfire.

Since FX made it with season one, it’s one of the most talked-about shows on TV. The cast includes Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Tim McGraw, Jessica Lange, Jessica Biel, and Sarah Paulson’s real-life daughter, Sarah Paulson.

The second season earned solid reviews, but people may not really be as excited about Season 3. It could be a let down, as it feels like a series that has been built around the premise of a Halloween party and the party may or may not happen.

In addition to being the new AHS, The Office is an office comedy. The first season wasn’t exactly a huge success, but a lot of critics have given it a solid eight-out-of-10. Since then, it’s never gotten the same kind of attention that the show deserves, which makes me wonder why more people aren’t talking about it.

Here’s why The Office deserves more attention:

It’s a solid series with characters you care about. As we see in season three, a family gets together to have a funeral for their great-grandfather who died in the Korean War, and what follows is a lot of awkwardness, awkwardness, awkwardness. But the show doesn’t hold back, as characters are torn apart by the end and they’re forced to deal with it. At its heart is a small town, and its residents can relate and have their own issues to deal with, which is a testament to The Office’s success.

The show was a ratings smash in the run-up to its third season, so it got the chance to build out the small town, as well as develop the main character, Michael.

The Office is a show that never stops pushing the envelope, and it does so when characters break the rules.

It’s got one of the best opening scenes ever on
