Naomi Watts has discussed many aspects of her personal life in the past two decades after it became known that she had had plastic surgery.
The actress, who was born in Toronto, Ontario, but lives in Los Angeles, first opened up publicly in 1990 on the cover of The National Enquirer.

In 2002, The National Enquirer published an interview with Naomi in which she spoke about having had breast implants.
However, it came out that she had had corrective liposuction, a procedure to remove excess fat and skin under the chin, and an eye lift.
In 2003, on the cover of Newsweek to promote the film The Dark Knight, the actress announced she was liposuctioning one side of her face as part of plastic surgery to prevent sun damage.
In 2005, she shared on her blog that she had had both upper and lower eyelid surgery, saying that her eyelids were’very much a part of [her] personality’.
She wrote: ‘I had eyelid surgery in December of 2004 on both eyes, the upper and lower.
‘I believe that eyelids are very much a part of our personality.
‘It’s funny, I remember the day I did it, and the day I told [my boyfriend] about it, I said, ‘Do you like it?’ and he said, ‘Yes.’
